Dragonfly and Cattails with Jasper Pendant

This is my showcase piece for 2020.  A stunning piece of Biggs Jasper reminded me of cattails in the forest--I designed the backplate with cattails embossed and then set the stone so that you could see both sides of this marvelous stone.  I then created a dragonfly with just a few bits of color in her wings.  The handmade bail features a dainty butterfly.   Truly inspired by this stone that I've had for over 20 years now.  The full pendant is 3.75" long and 2" across and weighs approximately 3 oz.  It is all made from fine silver  It is paired with a shiny, sterling plated circle shape choker.  The choker is 6mm in width and will stretch from 16" to 18".
